I am so glad that it is the weekend, time for relaxation.
I am leaving the ill husband at home to get better and going off to my friends house for lunch. I spotted this photo on the great website ffffound and it summed up how I feel today!

London
I was in London for a couple of days this week for work. I am always intrigued by the underground: the light, people, patterns etc. I also spend most of the time looking at my feet to make sure I don't fall over!
It wasn't until I looked at the photos this morning that I realised how grey everything is. It was a rainy day.

Home
Well a few years after originally joining Flickr (in January 2007) I have rejoined for my new incarnation here. And today I have spent a day at home and there was some wonderful light so I got the iphone out and started 'clicking'.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

Planning the big trip
Well the 30th (not mine!) birthday distraction is booked. Now to plan what we will actually do and see.

Sea shells on the sea shore
Bit late with this but at watercolour class this week we looked at tone.
This was great for me and I got some good practising at mixing colours. My biggest problem in previous weeks has been spending too long drawing items before painting so this weeks plan was to not draw it.
So, I painted some shells without drawing them first and to be honest I am pretty pleased with them!
Next week is half term so I will have to try and do some practising at home.
